Forty years ago most transports in the desert was done by camel. When the road was built between Cairoand the oasis the cars became more and more popular. Thereare still plenty of camels in the oasis, and traveling by camel gives you a chance to see large parts of the desert in a natural and relaxing pace. To your aid is a follow car with all the camp equipment, food, and your private luggage. When you arrive at your lunch stop or night camp everything is set up for you on beforehand, so mount your camel ! Camel ride - Local trip, 1 day After breakfast we ride to Beer Eler and then move on to Dest & Magrafa (pyramid mountain), the place where the two biggest dinosaurs in the world were discovered in the beginning of the last century. We then ride to theSalt Lake to have lunch. After lunch wewill ride to the sand dunes and Beer El Mattar, a hot spring where you can swim. After a refreshing swim we ride to the English house, returning tothe Hotel in the evening
. Day1 After breakfastwe will ride to Beer El Ghaba Beer El Mattar, then on to the small Bedouinvillage El Heaz, and to Beer El Ghaba, were there are two springs, one of them is hot and the other is cold. We then continue to English House, and after thatto the olive &palm tree gardens having dinner and spending the night in a camp.
Day 2 After breakfast we ride from the olive &palm tree gardens to the sand dunes, the salt lake and to Dest &Magrafa (the place where the two biggest dinosaurs were discovered in the beginning of the last century). After that we will ride to Abo El Maharek sand dunes and return to Bahariya via Beer El Ghaba . Camel trip, 4 days Day 1 After breakfast we ride to El Qasr village, Deal Elhsan (“horse tail”), then to El Mezainic. After that we will ride to the Black Desert and Om El Afae sand dunes, having dinner and stayovernight in a camp there. Day 2 After breakfast we ride to the Bedouin village El Heaz and then continue to Ta Lamon, and Beer Ibrahim forlunch. Then we will ride towards CrystalMountain, having dinner and stayovernight in a camp. Day 3 Arriving to theCrystalMountain having lunch and then ride towards El Agabat area having dinner there and stay overnight in a camp on the way Day 4 Moving on into the El Agabatarea, were you can find flower stones, then returning back by car toBahariya Camel trip, 10 days Day 1 Moving fromCairo in the morning arriving at the Hotel to have lunch.We make a local trip in the oasis to visit Beer El meftela, English house (the placewhere the English ruler was living during the English colonization of Egypt), the lake, Palm tree gardens, Beer El Ghaba, Dest& Magrafa (the place where the two biggest dinosaurs were found), returning to the hotel to have the dinnerand sleep Day 2 Moving afterbreakfast by jeep from the hotel to Ain Om Elafae., the beginning towards theBlack Desert, were we stop to have lunch and meet our camels. Arriving to theBlack Desert in the evening to make a camp and spend thenight. Day 3 Moving afterbreakfast from the Black Desert to El Mezainic were we stop to have lunch, then moving on to Beer Badry (there are sand dunes & a salt lake in this area) having dinner and make a camp to spend the night.
Day 4 Moving afterbreakfast from Beer Badry to the Bedouin village El Haez for lunch and then continuing to the sand dunes for dinner and stay overnight in acamp. Day 5 Moving afterbreakfast from the sand dunes to Khamaan (a desert that has special color)having dinner there beside a cold spring then moving towards 'El Selem' to spendthe night in a camp. Day 6 Moving afterbreakfast from El Selem toCrystalMountainwhere we stop to have lunch. We thencontinue towards theCrystal, having dinner and stay over night in acamp.
Day 7 Moving afterbreakfast from the Crystal to El Shekh Abdalah Mountain, and continuing to ElAgabat to have dinner and stay overnight in a camp continuing to el Day 8 Moving afterbreakfast inside El Agabat where there are sand dunes and plenty of fossilized sea plants to find. After having lunch there at the sand dunes, we go inside thevalley were we have dinner and stay overnight in a camp inside the Day 9 Moving afterbreakfast from the valley to Ain Khadra to have lunch, then to the new White Desert for dinner and stay overnight in a camp new white . Day 10 Moving afterbreakfast to El Khiam then to the old White Desert to see limestone formationsshaped by the wind and sand (mushroom, horse, ice cream cone and chicken). Afterthat we return to the Hotel. . .
